Presenting the AGROSH+ project at the “National Conference of Occupational medicine 2017”

Between the 25th and 27th of May 2017, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Victor Babes Timisoara and ROMTENS Foundation were invited to participate at the “National Conference of Occupational medicine 2017”, in Gura Humorului, Romania.

The Conference is a yearly event organized by the Romanian Society of Occupational Medicine and had this year the following theme “Good practices in Occupational medicine physician’s professional activity”.

The audience of the conference was around 150 Romanian occupational medicine physicians, from all counties of Romania, joined by few foreign colleagues from Greece, Hungary and United Kingdom. The University of Medicine and Pharmacy Victor Babes Timisoara was represented by Prof. dr. Elena-Ana Pauncu while Romtens Foundation was represented by Mr. Daniel Dodoc.

The presentation of the AGROSH+ project was performed by Prof. dr. Elena-Ana Pauncu and aimed both at raising awareness and especially at getting the interest of the participants for the “Course 2-Occupational Medicine for Agriculture" which shall be organized in September 2017 in Bucharest. Professor Pauncu presented the Curriculum of this course, with its 16 modules, and has accordingly received questions from the audience concerning them. Moreover she has also presented the evaluation procedure pursued for this training course dedicated to occupational medicine physicians which will be performed via the European Union of Medical Specialists-European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS-EACCME).
