Applications are now open for C4 - "Implementation Course 2-Occupational Medicine for Agriculture“

As part of the Learning activities taking place in the AGROSH+ project, Romtens Foundations, with the support of the Victor Babeş University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara, will host in Bucharest, Romania the C4 - "Implementation Course 2-Occupational Medicine for Agriculture“.

Duration:

The course will take place over a period of 6 days, 8 hours / day, between the 20^th and 25^th November 2017. There are allocated 5 days for the training and 1 day for the evaluation of trainees.

Trainers:

The trainers will be Occupational Medicine physicians, pneumology experts, OSH experts, etc. who have an extensive experience at national and international level and have been involved in producing the content for this course.

Trainees’ eligibility and requirements / Course accreditation:

This training course is dedicated only to Occupational Medicine Physicians and is credited with 37 credits by the European Union of Medical Specialists-European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS-EACCME). These credits are accepted by the Romanian College of Physicians (which is a partner of the UEMS-EACCME) and they will be granted to the trainees in a similar way as the common continuous medical education credits.

Content:

The course will have 16 modules dealing with different aspects of Occupational Medicine for agricultural workers. During the 5 days of training trainees will not only attend presentations, but they will get involved by resolving individual and collective exercise, reading case studies and discussing with the trainers about issues in Occupational Medicine for agricultural workers.

Costs and How to apply:

The participation in this course is free, but limited by the maximum number of participants, which is 14, allocated to each partner as follows:

• 2 trainees from Institute of Preventive Medicine Environmental and Occupational Health – PROLEPSIS from Greece;
• 2 trainees from Victor Babeş University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara;
• 10 trainees from Romtens Foundation.

In order to attend the training course C4 - "Implementation Course 2-Occupational Medicine for Agriculture“:

1. You must submit an application enclosing the following documents:

• Application Form (provided here);
• Motivation Letter (document provided here);
• CV (Europass format);
• Proof of accreditation as Occupational Medicine Physician.

2. You will sign a voluntary contract with Romtens Foundation for one month (condition from the funding agency).

During the training course one lunch and 2 coffee breaks are offered daily to each participant; please note that any other expense are not covered.

All applications must be submitted before 10.11.2017. Application sent after this date will not be taken in consideration.

The list with selected participants will be available on the AGROSH+ website on the 14.11.2017.
